The implicit importance of art in a society is universally accepted. History
judges the success of the world’s civilizations by the artwork left behind. Art
captures a society’s perspective on it’s past, and reflects the accomplishments of
its presence. Moreover, it marks the creative inspiration that directs it’s future.
Education plays an invaluable role in this creative process. Students must learn
about past achievements in the arts to be inspired to create works for the future.
Simply, burgeoning artists need tools for their crafts, and forums to display their
creations. The important guidance of teachers to assist in the process cannot be
underestimated.
Humbly, the International Arts and Education Foundation will play a part in this
process by developing and funding programs for both artists and art schools of visual
and performing arts.
